From Our Principal Mrs Louise Neave: Welcome to Sandringham Primary School
Welcome to Sandringham Primary School – a beloved and highly respected part of the Bayside community and one of Victoria’s longest established primary schools, with a proud history of educating students since 1855.
With around 500 students and a dedicated and highly professional teaching team, I am pleased to introduce a school enriched by both our history, and our vision for the education of our future students.
In 2022, we proudly opened the doors to our impressive new buildings. The creation of a school that combines state of the art learning facilities with our talented staff team, along with a rich 169 year history, is an exciting opportunity for current and future students, and indeed the broader Bayside community.
In addition to our dedication to high quality teaching and learning, Sandringham Primary School is also a place with a strong sense of community and legendary school spirit amongst parents and students alike. Warmly welcoming families new to our school is an important part of what makes Sandy Primary a cohesive community. Through our social and fundraising events, and our Parents’ Association, we offer many ways for families to connect and become involved in their child’s primary school.
You will find more information about our school throughout the pages on this website. If you would like more detail about enrolments or any aspect of Sandringham Primary School, you are welcome to contact our School Office on 9598 1488.
Together with our staff and students, I look forward to welcoming you to Sandy Primary.
