Sandringham Primary School recently celebrated a very special milestone – 45 years of teaching by our much-loved Prep teacher, Mr Gary Smith. To mark the occasion, a special surprise morning tea was organised at school for Gary by the Prep team. It was a wonderful opportunity to show our appreciation for all that Gary has contributed to Sandy Primary, and to celebrate the dedication, commitment and all-round excellence of a truly incredible educator and highly respected colleague.
Gary was also honoured by the Department of Education at a special ceremony, with his service to education in Victoria officially recognised. Congratulations Gary!
